New Olympus foot controls / pedals the RS31H and RS27H

The new RS31H and RS27H foot switches offer users a wealth of versatile options. Both models support the individual assignment of multimedia keys and hot-key combinations. Besides operation together with Olympus Dictation Management Software (ODMS), these foot switches can also be freely used independently to thereby open up a whole new world of deployment potential. For example, these new models can be used to control web browser applications and practically all third-party software, such as video and audio editing programs or gaming software. Their ergonomic design maximizes ease of use: a gentle tap on the respective pedal is all that is required for fast forward, rewind, play or stop. In addition, the devices incorporate an anti-slip base to ensure the foot switch remains secure and stable at all times, preventing it from slipping out from under the foot.
The RS31H foot switch is equipped with four pedals, which can be assigned individually to commands such as fast forward, rewind, play and stop. This leaves the hands free, allowing the user to concentrate entirely on transcription. Meanwhile, the RS27H foot switch features three pedals and, like the RS31H, is designed for long-term use, thanks to its high-quality finish.
